How many free score reports do you get with the SAT?

By Updated 1 September 2026

Four, provided you request them within roughly nine days of test day. After that window each additional report costs around 13 to 15 dollars. Students using a fee waiver get unlimited score reports, which is often the most valuable part of the waiver.

The nine-day window is the trap, because it closes before scores are released. You are choosing colleges without knowing your result, so either pick your four in advance and accept the gamble, or plan to pay for reports later once you can see what you are sending.
