SAT School Day
SAT School Day is a weekday administration of the same digital SAT, given at a student's own school and paid for by the school, district or state rather than by the family.
Also written as: in-school SAT
Why it matters
It is the same test, scored the same way, and it counts identically for admissions and for superscoring. For many students it is a free, proctored attempt at a familiar site — which under superscoring can only help.
What people get wrong
Treating it as a practice run, or as something lesser than the weekend test. It is neither. The other common error is assuming accommodations carry over automatically: they do, but the request still goes through the school's SSD coordinator on the same approval standard and the same lead time as any other sitting.
Practise this on real adaptive questions
PrepGenix runs the same module-adaptive format as Bluebook, with scoring handled server-side. Free to start.
